“I landed in the wrong place, to be honest!” Doshi laughs while discussing her first impressions of America. “In China, it’s busy, we have big populations… so when I first landed in Nebraska, the airport was so quiet – I was like, ‘am I in the right place?’”
Now living in Los Angeles, Doshi enjoys the bustle of the big city – “it’s sunny every single day!” – and her new job as an adult entertainer. After a working in New York in massage parlors, she’s curious but fearful of feature dancing – “I just get nervous, I don’t know how to dance, I don’t want to get stupid just standing there!”
Shooting studio scenes, however, is currently her favorite part of the business, especially it comes to comedic and dramatic roles: “the English is a little hard for dialogue for me, I like the challenge… I like the acting, I feel like that’s so different from what I do… you can pretend to be somebody else and get into their character. I love it, roleplay!”
